About the Role
A leading, award-winning firm with a strong reputation in landlord and tenant law is seeking a Housing Solicitor or experienced Paralegal to join their friendly and supportive Barry-based team. This is a newly created position, offering the opportunity to make a real impact while benefiting from full support, training, and potential sponsorship for qualification for the right candidate.
You will be handling a varied and rewarding caseload, including:
Advising clients on landlord and tenant matters, including the validity of notices.
Providing guidance on Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs).
Handling injunctions relating to access and anti-social behaviour.
Advising both private rental and social tenants.
Managing rent repayment orders and disrepair claims.
Dealing with harassment and unlawful eviction claims.
Enforcing orders against tenants or landlords.
Handling trespass claims, High Court enforcement, and bailiff instructions.
Advising on company let agreements.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Be a qualified solicitor, legal executive, or experienced housing paralegal.
Have strong experience in landlord and tenant law.
Be confident in advising clients clearly and professionally, both in person and over the phone.
Be precise, reliable, and able to follow firm policies and procedures.
Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.
Have excellent drafting skills and be confident representing clients in closed court if required.
