Housing Project Manager needed in Croydon

This is a temporary contract paying £62.50ph PAYE

This is a temporary role

The reference number is: 9161-1

The successful candidate will prepare construction project for delivery or projects that form the capital programme for any year or future year, such as:

  • Special projects that have to be scoped, designed and tendered as a standalone project
  • Work that requires approval from the Building Safety Regulator
  • Work that needs planning consent
  • Work that cannot be delivered over a single year, because it has a long lead in and planning stage
  • Work that requires section 20 notice
  • Work without an adequate supply chain in place
  • Plan and organise the pre-construction stages of the capital delivery pipeline so that each work stream has clear milestones and resource requirements identified
  • Liaise with procurement colleagues to ensure that there is an adequate supply chain in place, taking a pro-active role where necessary in planning procurements and evaluating tenders.
