Service Care Solutions is working with a local authority, based in Northamptonshire, which is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support their Housing Disrepair Claims team. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with housing or litigation experience to join a busy public sector legal service on a flexible, remote-working basis.

Role: Housing Disrepair Paralegal

Location: Northamptonshire - Remote

Umbrella Rate: £20 - £26ph

PAYE Inc. Rate: £18.01 - £23.23ph

Contract Length: 3 months ongoing

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the management of housing disrepair claims from instruction to resolution.
  • Reviewing evidence, correspondence, and legal documentation.
  • Supporting case preparation, including disclosure and drafting documents.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, ideally within housing disrepair or litigation.
  • Experience working with or for a local authority (desirable but not essential).
  • The ability to work independently in a remote environment.
