A local government authority located in the City of Westminster is seeking an experienced Housing Advisor to join its team in addressing housing needs and providing assistance. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in homelessness prevention and assessment, as well as exceptional communication skills. The position includes responsibilities such as managing applications, working with a diverse clientele, and achieving departmental targets. Flexible working arrangements are offered, with up to three days of remote work available.
Following our successful implementation of our Trainee Programme, we are giving experienced Housing Advisors who do not have a permanent role the opportunity to apply for a position within HPAS. This role is only suitable for experienced Housing Advisors as training will not be provided due to our new Trainee Programme which is at capacity.

Your role will be to work as part of a team taking applications for those in housing need and determining what assistance the Authority is able to provide. The responsibilities include:
Experienced Housing Advisors with a proven record in homelessness prevention and assessment who can demonstrate the skills listed above. Shortlisting decisions will be based on relevant experience and suitability for the role in line with the person specification.
