Who are we?

Celeste is the newest property from the world of Estelle, sister to Maison Estelle in Mayfair and Estelle Manor in Oxfordshire. A meticulously restored townhouse, Celeste is opening in vibrant Notting Hill, London. A public Italian-American restaurant is located on the ground floor, complete with an alfresco front terrace, elegant wrap‑around bar counter and a glazed conservatory in the rear. Set on the first floor, our oak‑panelled, Tokyo‑influenced member’s area features Art‑Deco grandeur, with a sculptural bar stretching beneath soaring windows. Celeste’s second floor offers an open kitchen‑style pantry, serving Japanese dishes from the traditional robata, alongside delectable sushi and sashimi. Tucked beneath the eaves, on Celeste’s third floor, “The Apartment” is an ideal spot for a private hosted occasion, with rustic beams, reclaimed wooden floors and the spirit of an artist’s studio.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor you’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing the day‑to‑day operations and activities within the Housekeeping department ensuring the team delivers an exceptional hosted experience for our members.
  • Providing direction to the housekeeping team throughout the day.
  • Carrying out regular spot checks of the public areas and toilets to check the work of the Housekeeping team and maintaining high standards throughout the club.
  • Ensuring that daily cleaning check lists are completed.
  • Acting upon member requests and special requirements where necessary.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues to the Head Housekeeper and Chief Engineer.
  • Passing on all information relevant to the cleaning of our members club public areas to the Head Housekeeper e.g. maintenance issues, special requirements and requests etc.
  • Ensuring procedures for all waste disposal and recycling are adhered to.
  • Encouraging a general awareness of Health and Safety in relation to all tasks and activities undertaken in the department.
  • Delegating daily tasks and schedules to the Housekeeping team.
  • Managing linen, uniform and other fixed assets.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
  • At least 1 year proven experience in a Housekeeping Supervisor role within a luxury / lifestyle hospitality business.
  • Excellent time-management skills; comfortable prioritising what is important during busy periods.
  • Obsessive about attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking to colleagues, senior management, and coming front of house to talk to members.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and hosting.

The on‑target earning potential for this role is £46,870.20 per annum – comprising a base salary of £35,989.20, plus a qualified estimate of £10,881 in gratuities and service charge. This is based on a hourly rate on £15.38.
