Job Description

In this role, you will ensure that housekeeping and hospitality areas are monitored and serviced at all times. All areas will be checked regularly and returned to the required standards.

You will be responsible for ordering and collecting stock from the onsite delivery centre, monitoring stock levels, and communicating these to the onsite manager.

In addition, you will ensure that HSEQ and COSHH standards are consistently met in line with ISS and client procedures. You will deliver effective hospitality services and customer-driven operations, proactively managing future hospitality requirements and attending monthly, quarterly, and yearly reviews with your manager in line with ISS standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Open the office floor at 7am and ensure all areas are ready for the working day.
  • Maintain the client pantry and staff kitchens, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness at all times.
  • Clean kitchen areas, including washing dishes and loading/unloading dishwashers.
  • Walk through the office to tidy general areas, clear cups, and maintain a clean environment.
  • Clean and maintain coffee machines across two kitchens.
  • Deliver water to client lounges and prepare/serve coffees as required.
  • Deliver lunches to meeting rooms and clean down afterwards.
  • Provide coverage on reception when needed.
  • Monitor and service all housekeeping and hospitality areas continuously, ensuring standards are met.
  • Conduct regular checks of all areas, returning them to required standards.
  • Order and collect stock from the onsite delivery centre; monitor and communicate stock levels to the onsite manager.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment; comfortable in a personality-driven role and happy to teach and support others.
  • Looking to transition from a housekeeping role into a corporate environment.
  • GCSEs in Maths and English, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within hospitality services.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
