Housekeeping Assistant

Where: Winmarleigh

Contracted hours: Part Time and Full Time Options Available

Job Type: Fixed Term

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Optional Accommodation: Yes

  • Living Wage accredited – pay well above the National Minimum Wage, with opportunities for paid overtime during peak periods (6‑day working).
  • Fixed Term contract from February until November 2026; start and end dates can be varied within this period.
  • Full‑time: 37.5 hours per week across 5 days. Part‑time: up to 30 hours per week (Mon, Wed, Fri).
  • Optional accommodation and meal packages available at a generous rate with zero charge for bills or utilities.

Being a Housekeeping Assistant

Our Housekeeping Assistants are the behind‑the‑scenes heroes who create a home away from home for our guests. You will maintain a clean, welcoming environment by performing daily housekeeping tasks, ensuring spotless bathrooms, gleaming windows, fresh sheets, and vacuumed carpets. It’s busy, physical work, but never boring.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain living areas, bathrooms, and communal spaces.
  • Wash and change bedsheets and replace towels.
  • Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and sweep hard‑surface areas.
  • Securely dispose of waste and ensure recycling protocols are followed.
  • Report any maintenance issues to the relevant staff.
