Job Purpose

The role of the Housekeeper is essential to helping our residents live full, happy, and healthy lives. You'll take pride in delivering a spotless and hygienic home environment that contributes to their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
  • Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, sinks, and countertops
  • Making beds and changing linens
  • Using cleaning tools such as vacuums, mops, and cloths effectively
  • Keeping bathrooms stocked with toiletries and fresh towels
  • Cleaning mirrors, glass surfaces, and communal areas
  • Tidying and refreshing residents' rooms
  • Monitoring and ordering cleaning supplies as required
  • Reporting repairs or maintenance issues promptly
  • Assisting in laundry duties and ensuring cleanliness throughout the home
  • Interacting positively with residents - joining conversations, offering a smile, and contributing to their sense of home
Requirements
  • Naturally kind, caring, and compassionate
  • Highly motivated with great attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
  • Comfortable communicating with residents and colleagues
  • Experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred, but not essential
  • Willingness to work in both cleaning and laundry areas of the home

Payrates
  • £12.21 per hour
  • £15.26 per hour (Weekends)
  • £24.42 per hour (Bank Holidays)
