Overview

We are excited to offer a permanent Housekeeper position on the Courtauld Ward at Braintree Community Hospital, an elective orthopaedic unit with 23 beds. This role supports excellent local and specialist services, contributes to patient wellbeing, and provides a dynamic environment for professional development.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all areas within the department.
• Ensure treatment rooms and stores are clean, well stocked and properly organized.
• Order supplies and manage stock rotation.
• Perform steam cleaning as required.
• Conduct and record safety and cleanliness audits.
• Complete administrative tasks, including photocopying and documentation.
• Liaise with the estates department regarding maintenance issues and ward improvements.
• Support the team to uphold high standards of safety and cleanliness across the ward.
