Overview

Housekeeper — Location: Wellford Gardens, 1-3 Park Hill, Wheatley, Oxford, OX33 1NE. Pay rate: £12.44 (Mon-Fri); £13.44 (Sat-Sun). Contracted hours: 20/36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in residents' rooms and living spaces, ensuring a welcoming, tidy and safe environment at all times.
• Champion hygiene and infection control within the home; use specialised equipment and materials as required.
• Support residents with simple cleaning and laundry tasks when needed, while respecting dignity and privacy.
• Collaborate with the team to provide a warm, caring environment for residents, friends and families.
• Work with other team members who are passionate about safety and wellbeing in the home.

About the Setting

Wellford Gardens is a luxury new build delivering all-inclusive comfort in a three-storey home with 65 bedrooms, offering round-the-clock residential and dementia care. The home features en-suite bedrooms, fresh air ventilation, acoustic monitoring, landscaped gardens, private dining, hair and beauty facilities, cinema, lounge and sun terrace, and uses technologies including E-care to provide person-centred care with personalised options.

About You

You’ll be comfortable in an elderly care setting and able to relate to residents with care and sensitivity. Previous housekeeping experience is welcomed, but training is provided if you are new to the profession.
