Hourly Paid Learning Assistant in Hair & Beauty

The School of Hair and Beauty are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible person to join their team. The suitable candidate will work across Tuesday evening, Wednesday and Friday daytime across 14.75 hours. The successful candidate should have a background in Beauty Therapy holding a minimum of a Level 2 and Level 3 in Beauty would be advantageous, alongside a wealth of experience in Industry to be able to support learners.

Responsibilities
  • Part of the curriculum team, working alongside teaching staff to support learning.
  • Proactive individual to provide practical support to staff and students in classrooms.
  • Support learners with developing reception and stock control, displays.
  • Manage stock and demonstrate correct/safe use of equipment to students and staff, including booking and allocating equipment, maintaining or preparing for lessons.
  • Promote professionalism and excellent customer service.
  • Support learning across Tuesday evening, Wednesday and Friday daytime across 14.75 hours.
Requirements
  • Background in Beauty Therapy holding a minimum of Level 2; Level 3 advantageous.
  • Experience in industry to support learners.
  • Experience working with young adults advantageous.
  • Understanding of salon booking systems for hair and beauty services and reception work.
  • Professional manner, good communication skills, capable of interpreting technical information and explaining clearly.

Based at our Luton campus.
