A healthcare organization in South Wales is seeking candidates to join its Hotel Services Team in housekeeping positions. Successful applicants will perform essential cleaning and potentially catering duties to support the team's efforts in maintaining national cleanliness standards. Exciting job opportunities have arisen for several candidates to join our busy Hotel Services Team at Keir Hardie University Health Park. Opportunities to work in Housekeeping positions 3 x 15hrs. The positions will support the Facilities (Hotel Services) team in delivering Housekeeping and Catering services to the National Standards for these services in NHS Wales, HIW standard 5 and 9 and Organisational Standards.
The main duties of the post include general cleaning of all areas of the Health Park in accordance with departmental schedules and specifications and in line with the National Standards of Cleanliness. In the event of service pressure and according to the Job Description requirements of this role, successful candidates may be required to perform catering duties. The successful candidates must observe and maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene, confidentiality, courtesy and consideration to all patients and fellow employees. This post is monthly paid.
Applicants who are not UK or Republic of Ireland nationals will require sponsorship to obtain either a Health and Care Visa or a Skilled Worker Visa unless they already hold permission to work via another route. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. Welsh skills desirable: this post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This does not mean essential; no fluency is required, just speaking & listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above.
