Overview
Our Food and Beverage operation relies on the preparation and support of the Kitchen Porter team. Reporting to the Executive Chef, your working day will include the following responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out cleaning tasks at pace to support the delivery of all crockery, dishware, mis en place and cookery equipment. This preparation is essential to provide a food and beverage service.
- Ensure food preparation sites and storage areas are clean and that items are stored to the required Food Hygiene standards and cleaning schedules.
- Unload equipment and food from deliveries and ensure correct product storage as per delivery procedures.
- Keep storerooms and bin rooms organized and in good working order.
- Support the hotel’s sustainability incentives in the correct disposal of waste and waste collection.
Shifts and Expectations
- Variable shifts and hours. To be able to work a variety of shifts (mornings/days/evenings) 5 days over 7 and 40 hours per calendar week.
- A positive attitude and hands-on approach to work.
- Excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene within your area of work.
- Problem-solving, good organisational and storage skills.
- A collaborative attitude towards co-workers and colleagues.
