Job summary

A council-managed accommodation organization is seeking an experienced Hostel Caretaker to handle day-to-day caretaking and maintenance duties at temporary accommodations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar setting, possess an Enhanced DBS, and be capable of working independently. Responsibilities include performing regular safety checks and ensuring the security of the premises.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months or registered on the DBS Update Service.
• Previous experience as a caretaker, ideally within residential or hostel settings.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Good knowledge of general building maintenance.
