Overview

Hospitality Box Waiters at Millwall Football Club are part of a fast-paced, high-standard catering team. This role focuses on guest experience, detailed product knowledge, and proactive service on matchdays and at other Sodexo Live! sites where required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup of your area prior to guests’ arrival, ensuring all necessary equipment and preparation are in place.
• Work efficiently, adhering to company working practices.
• Complete any task assigned by a supervisor, working proactively at all times.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the menu, describe items in detail to guests, and record orders.
• Adhere to fine dining etiquette at all times.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of wine and champagne lists and provide recommendations.
• Provide the highest possible level of customer service.
• Work in accordance with Food Allergen information and service procedures.
• Ensure all food and beverage products served are of the required standard, well presented, and served in line with service guidelines.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of all beverage products stocked.
• Report guest complaints, queries or issues to a supervisor and assist in resolving them where possible.
• Comply fully with all licensing legislation, including company-specific requirements.
• Be flexible and adaptable to changes, and willing to work in different areas as necessary due to business demands or reasonable requests.
• Comply with all Health and Safety regulations.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills, be friendly yet professional, and work well as part of a team.
• Show good attention to detail and punctuality; be proactive in role execution.
