Responsibilities

• Operate the Switchboard System and Blick Multiotone Pager System.
• Activate the Pager System in emergencies.
• Assist hospital staff and the general public.
• Contact on-call personnel as necessary.

Ability to organise and prioritise work effectively

Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Professional telephone manner

Ability to remain calm under pressure

Education

Educated to GCSE or equivalent standard
