About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client - an award-winning, 5-star rated removals and storage company - for a Removals Porter / Van Driver to join their growing team. This is a physically demanding yet rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll be part of a friendly, professional team helping customers move homes or offices locally and across the UK, ensuring every job is completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading furniture and household effects from customer properties
• Heavy lifting and manual handling as part of a team
• Driving large 3.5 tonne vans to and from customer locations
• Ensuring all items are wrapped, protected, and loaded safely for transport
• Providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally at all times
• Assisting with both domestic and commercial moves

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Previous removals or driving experience preferred (but not essential - full training provided)
• CSCS card desirable - or willingness to obtain one (paid for by the company)
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, professional, and a strong team player
• Flexibility for occasional overnight stays due to long-distance jobs
