Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Home Manager to lead a well-established residential dementia care service in the Porthcawl area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated leader with a strong background in dementia care and residential services.

Location: Porthcawl, Wales

Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the residential home

  • Delivering high-quality, person-centred care for residents with dementia

  • Leading, supporting, and developing care staff to maintain a positive and effective team culture

  • Ensuring full compliance with CIW regulations and internal policies

  • Managing budgets, staffing levels, and rota planning

  • Building positive relationships with families, staff, external agencies, and professionals

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Home Manager or Deputy Manager in a dementia-focused residential care setting

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • In-depth knowledge of dementia care and residential care standards

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care (or working towards)

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and decision-making skills
