A leading healthcare provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist responsible for delivering quality patient care. The role involves providing speech therapy services, coordinating with a multi-disciplinary care team, and maintaining comprehensive care plans. Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a current SLP license, and at least one year of experience in an acute care setting. This is a PRN position requiring flexible scheduling throughout the week.
The Speech Therapist is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care according to the patient's individual physician orders. Care may involve assessments, administering prescribed treatments and therapies, care planning, communication with other members of the patients' multi-disciplinary team, supply management, emergency management, coordination of care, health promotion and teaching and training family members.
