A local home care provider in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a Home Care Assistant to support clients in their daily routines. This role involves visiting clients in their homes, providing companionship, and assisting with personal care tasks. Evening shifts are available, providing flexibility to work part-time or build to full-time. Training will be provided, and a UK driver's licence is essential for this position, ensuring you can assist clients with errands and appointments. As a Home Care Assistant, You will be visiting people in their own home to help them with all aspects of their daily routines, and provide meaningful companionship at the same time. Our Office is based in Worle, Weston super Mare but we have Clients from Burnham on Sea to Clevedon and everything in between. We try to keep you working locally to where you live to minimise time spent travelling around and maximising your time to care.
The position we have available is an evening shift from 18 : 00 - 21 : 30, on some weekdays plus every other weekend. If this is a time you can work, we'd love to hear from you.
Being a Home Care Assistant is an essential role, supporting our Clients to live well at home. With the support of our team and industry leading training, you can feel fully equipped to deliver the high‑quality care Home Instead has become known for.
The right candidate for this role will need to be available some weekdays, plus every other weekend. Zero hours contract, but this can be reviewed after 3 months.
No previous care assistant experience is needed , just your natural caring qualities. We will support you with full training, shadow shifts and introductions to all your new clients.
Having a full, UK driver's licence and your own car is essential due to some tasks that may be involved like shopping trips, taking to appointments, and travelling between client visits within a 15 minute window.

We require successful candidates to have an enhanced DBS check and provide a minimum of 4 references before they can start work as a Home Care Assistant. This role is UK based and the right to work in the UK will need to be established as part of the recruitment process.
