Overview

We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life of our clients to join our team in Styvechale,Cheylesmore and Earlsdon. Home Instead is the world’s leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people. With minimum visits of one hour, award winning training and an excellent reputation, we are immensely proud of the quality of care we provide. We match our support workers to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support.

We are looking for caring people to join our CAREGivers team at our Coventry South Office. We offer support to our clients in several ways. This can include companionship, personal care, cooking a meal, support with shopping, or just a cup of tea and a chat reminiscing about life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship, personal care, cooking a meal, support with shopping, or just a cup of tea and a chat reminiscing about life.
  • Match with a client based on hobbies and interests and introduce the client on the first meeting.
Qualifications
  • No experience or qualifications are required to become a CAREGiver, though prior experience in care or with older people can be useful.
  • Passion for supporting others and delivering an outstanding service.
  • Reliable, trustworthy and respectful. Able to build professional friendships and feel comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
Benefits and Additional Information
  • Training and Support: industry-leading training and strong support.
  • Pay: great rates of pay from 13.75 to 14.75 at weekends, and double pay for Bank Holidays.
  • Benefits: mileage and pension contributions. Flexible working hours.
  • Work details: DBS enhanced disclosure (as required).
