A local council in Birmingham is looking for dedicated teachers to join their Home Bridging Team, providing interim education to children with special needs. The role involves collaborating with families and schools to ensure smooth transitions while delivering tailored educational support. This full-time position offers the flexibility of hybrid working from home and the office.
Home Bridging Team Teacher (2 posts) — Permanent. Teachers pay and conditions. Main scale to UPS3 with SEND Allowance. Working 32.5 hours per week.
We are seeking to appoint outstanding and experienced full-time teachers to join our established Home Bridging Team (HBT) from January 2026.
This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a dedicated team that supports children and young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) who are currently without a formal education placement.
