Job Summary
The aim and purpose of the role is to help provide administrative support to the 0-18s team in the run-up to the Holiday Club. The candidate would also be responsible for overseeing the children's registration during the week and ensuring that volunteers are recruited safely. Duties will involve helping with the administrative aspects of organising and running the annual Holiday Bible Club in February. The role holder will work on Mondays and will be employed for the whole duration of Holiday Club. The individual will work closely with Trevor Pearce, Senior Minister (Children and Youth), who will provide direct supervision, as well as with the organising team.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend weekly planning meetings on Mondays from 9:00-10:15am in preparation for the Holiday Club (commencing 12th January). They will be employed throughout the Holiday Club week. Attendance at congregational meetings is not required.
- Safeguarding Administration: Oversee safeguarding processes, including coordinating and administering DBS checks for volunteers. Liaise with the Parish Safeguarding Officer regarding safeguarding matters throughout the week.
- Child Recruitment & Data Management: Support the organisation of children's registration and maintain the associated databases.
- Team and Parent Communication: Handle communications from the organising team (Senior Minister for Children & Youth, 0-18s Minister-in-Training, and Ministry Trainees) to volunteer leaders and parents.
- Registration Oversight: Oversee the entire registration process, from the lead-up to the Holiday Club through the week itself.
- Training Coordination: Manage communications regarding team training afternoons and ensure volunteers receive the necessary information.
- Operational Liaison: Work with the Ministry Operations Manager to coordinate the Church Assistant's involvement throughout the week.

Essential Qualifications
- Experience of implementing safeguarding processes and administrative procedures whilst organising events.
- Strong communicator through emails, texts or telephone calls.
- IT Skills (ability to use Google Workspace (Docs, Slides and Spreadsheet)).
- Strong with administrative processes and a good eye for detail.
- A committed conservative evangelical Christian in full sympathy with the aims and values of the ministry of All Souls Church, having a supreme regard for scripture and a biblical understanding of holistic mission.
