Overview

Hoarding Project Support Officer

Grade 5, £29,540 up to £33,699 per annum pro rata plus essential car user allowance of £850 per annum. 37 hours per week, 18 month fixed term contract.

Responsibilities
  • Support and further develop a practical and pragmatic hoarding support service.
  • Facilitate delivery of one-to-one interventions in clients' homes to positively work towards de-cluttering.
  • Actively promote the hoarding pathway and establish strong multi‑agency links to help develop the service.
  • Work as part of a small team to develop a toolkit of interventions and procedures that make the pathway easy to navigate for service users and professionals.
  • Regularly work in cluttered environments as part of delivering the service.
Qualifications
  • Educated to Level 4 or equivalent in social care, housing or environmental health, or demonstrated significant experience and in-house learning in one of the related areas.
Working Arrangements

We operate a hybrid working model with a mix of office based, home and remote working available when suitable. The contractual base will be office based with agreed flexibility to work from home or at remote locations in the borough.
