An alternative education provider in Burnley is looking for a motivated HLTA or Unqualified Teacher. The role involves planning and delivering lessons for children needing additional support. HLTA/Unqualified Teacher — Location: Alternative Provision - KS1 to KS4, Burnley
Salary: Up to 30,000 (depending on experience)
The school is a unique alternative provision supporting children and young people across KS1-KS4 who require short-term intervention, respite, or additional support while working towards a positive transition back into mainstream education or onto a specialist setting. Our provision also plays a vital role in assessing and gathering data to support Education Health and Care (EHC) plan applications.
With a strong emphasis on outdoor learning, adventurous activities, and public services, we create engaging and purposeful learning experiences that help our students grow in confidence, resilience, and skills for life.
We are seeking a motivated HLTA or Unqualified Teacher who is ready to take on full teaching responsibilities. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and marking lessons, while supporting children and young people with a wide range of needs.

Experience in alternative provision, SEMH, or working with children with additional needs is desirable, but training and support will be provided.
