Overview

The Supply Register is proud to be working on behalf of a welcoming and supportive school who are seeking a qualified and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team.

This role is ideal for someone with proven experience as a HLTA who is confident in leading whole classes, supporting teaching staff, and delivering engaging learning opportunities that help children thrive. The role is permanent part time vacancy (30 hours per week - Mon to Fri- Term-time only).

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons to whole classes in the absence of the teacher.
  • Support teachers with planning, preparation, and assessment.
  • Provide tailored interventions to individuals or small groups of pupils.
  • Contribute to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and wider school staff.
Candidate Requirements
  • HLTA qualification (or equivalent) - essential.
  • Previous experience working successfully as a HLTA in a school setting.
  • Recognised Teaching Assistant qualification.
