Order Picker - Order Picker at Heights / HLOP Driver / FLT Driver

Location: Sherburn in Elmet
PERMANENT ROLE

We are recruiting for a brand new site opening in Sherburn in Elmet, offering opportunities for growth, fresh starts, and long-term permanent roles.

Role and Pay

• Brand new site opening with fantastic opportunities
• Hourly Rates: £12.75 p/h starting pay, moving to £13.75 p/h AM Shift (06:00 - 14:00) and £14.75 p/h PM Shift (14:00 - 22:00) after training
• FULL TRAINING IS PROVIDED
• Own transport essential due to site location

Responsibilities

• Pick orders accurately while operating at heights of up to 14 meters
• Work from a standing position in very narrow aisles (VNA environment)
• Perform general manual handling and warehouse duties
• Follow all site safety procedures including rope escape awareness (covered at induction)
• Support team operations and maintain a clean and organised work area

Requirements

• No licence required - full training is provided
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Must be comfortable working at height and using rope escape equipment in emergencies
• HLOP experience highly desirable (VNA experience also considered)
• Physically fit and able to work in a standing, manual role
• Must be flexible to work a 5 out of 6 shift pattern (Sunday always off, every other Saturday required)
• Own transport essential due to limited public transport options
