Histology Dissection Biomedical Scientist

Mediplacements are looking for a skilled and experienced Band 6 Histology Dissection Biomedical Scientist to fill an ongoing locum role in our client\'s laboratory based in London.

This position is due to start as soon as possible with a pay rate of up to £35 per hour.

The successful candidate must have experience with histology techniques such as embedding, sectioning, staining, and reporting of histology specimens. They must also be familiar with the use of a range of laboratory equipment and be able to troubleshoot and maintain them as required.

Responsibilities include performing histology techniques (embedding, sectioning, staining), preparing and reporting on histology specimens, and supporting equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Qualified Biomedical Scientist (Band 6) with histology experience
• Experience in embedding, sectioning, staining, and reporting of histology specimens
• Familiar with a range of laboratory equipment and able to troubleshoot and maintain equipment
