Job description
Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Milk Education are looking for an experienced HLTA to work full-time at a primary school in one of our schools in Trafford and Salford.

The HLTA role will consist of covering lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 when the teachers are out doing PPA or need management release time.

In this HLTA role you will be required to cover a range of subjects throughout EYFS - KS2 so knowledge and experience covering the EYFS - KS2 curriculum within a UK mainstream primary school setting is essential.

This is a long-term role that will start immediately and could go from a temporary role to a permanent role for the ideal applicant. The HLTA role will be full time 08:30am until 15:30pm, Mon to Fri.

Applicants will need to possess:
  • Previous EYFS, KS1 and KS2 Teaching or HLTA experience
  • HLTA Status, QTS Status or Level 6 Degree
  • The ability to develop positive relationships with staff and students alike
  • Strong behaviour management skills
