Aspire People are working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Manchester who are seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a long-term basis.

This is a key role within the school, offering responsibility, variety, and the opportunity to make a real impact on pupil progress.

The Role
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons during teacher PPA or absence
  • Lead small-group interventions across KS1 and KS2
  • Support teaching and learning alongside class teachers
  • Assist with assessment, planning, and classroom organisation
  • Support pupils with additional needs where required
What We're Looking For
  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Recent experience in a UK primary school (within the last 2 years)
  • Confidence leading whole‑class learning
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
