Salary: £99 – £125 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step in your career?

GSL Education are seeking passionate and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to support schools across Hull.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver lessons and cover classes in the absence of the teacher, using prepared materials.
  • Support pupils’ learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group interventions to raise attainment.
  • Assist teachers in planning, assessing, and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular or pastoral support.
Requirements
  • Previous experience supporting pupils in EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different year groups and settings.
  • A genuine passion for supporting the progress and wellbeing of young learners.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
