Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire
Contract: Full-time / Part-time (term-time only)
Daily rate: Dependent on experience and qualifications

We are looking to recruit dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) who are looking to work in and around the Stroud area.

About the Role:

As a HLTA, you will play a vital role in:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Leading small group interventions and whole-class learning where required.
  • Providing targeted support to pupils with additional needs.
  • Assisting in planning and preparing learning activities.
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school community.

About You:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds HLTA status (or is working towards it) or has relevant equivalent experience.
  • Has experience working with primary-aged children.
  • Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is flexible, organised, and proactive in their approach.
