We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. Support teaching and learning across primary schools, working with small groups or providing 1:1 support to help children reach their potential.
Plan and deliver lessons and activities under the direction of the classroom teacher, particularly for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Assist with classroom management, ensuring a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment.
Track and assess student progress, providing feedback to inform planning and next steps in learning.
Build strong relationships with students, teachers, and school staff to contribute to a nurturing educational environment.
Support students with additional needs, tailoring learning experiences to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all.
A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent), or be working towards HLTA status.
Experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school, with a good understanding of child development and educational practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, staff, and parents.
Strong organizational skills, able to manage tasks efficiently and adapt to changing classroom needs.
A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to supporting children’s learning and well-being.
A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to motivate and inspire children to reach their full potential.
A commitment to professional development, with a desire to continue learning and growing in the education sector.
