Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Learning Support Assistant (HLLSA) to join our dynamic team at the Kingston Maurward campus. In this role you will support learners with a range of additional needs, including learning difficulties, disabilities, autism and social, emotional, or mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

You will work closely with teaching staff to help plan and deliver learning activities, implement support strategies and promote independence and inclusion across the college. Your duties will include adapting teaching approaches to meet diverse learner needs and advocating for learners’ progress.

Qualifications & Requirements

Compassionate and proactive, you have experience supporting young people or adults with additional learning needs in an educational setting. You are confident in adapting your approach to meet diverse learner needs and are willing to undertake child protection screening, including an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.

Remuneration & Working Hours

This position is term‑time only for 39 working weeks and is paid for 44.65 weeks. The role requires 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary: £22,444.89 per annum (£26,210 FTE).
