A leading driving agency is looking for experienced HGV Recovery Drivers to assist with roadside breakdowns across several locations in the UK. This full-time role offers training, a robust compensation package with overtime opportunities, and the possibility of a permanent position after a four-month contract. Ideal candidates should have an HGV Class 2 license and a strong customer service orientation. Employment provides both flexibility and a chance to help customers in need during stressful situations.

Locations: Rotherham, Aylesford, Walsall, Hickstead, Northampton, Birmingham & Bradford
Available Start Dates: 5th January, 12th January and 26th January 2026
Contract: Full-time, 4-month temp (via agency), weekly pay
(Extension or permanent offer may be possible depending on business needs.)

Prefer 1-year HGV driving experience however will accept freshly passed HGV drivers who have previous experience in either 7.5T vehicles or buses / coaches.
Full paid induction and training
All travel, accommodation and food expenses are paid during the first two weeks.
First 12 weeks:
Estimated OTE: £33,000 per year
After 12 weeks worked (overtime rate increases in‑line with Agency Workers Regulations (AWR)):
Estimated OTE: £35,000 per year
Some Recovery Patrols can earn £40,000+ depending on hours worked and incentives.
If the client offers you a permanent role at the end of the temp contract, you can expect:
