HGV Technician / Mechanic – Monday to Friday (days), 45 hours per week.

Salary & Benefits

We are the UK’s leading manufacturer of Heavy Goods Vehicles. Our client, a well‑organised, highly experienced workshop based in Bexley, is looking for an HGV Technician / Mechanic to join the depot. The role involves diagnosing faults on chassis‑mounted equipment, carrying out repairs to the highest standard, preparing HGVs for MOTs and performing general mechanic duties.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintenance and servicing of remanufactured commercial vehicles (RCVs) and HGVs.
• Diagnose faults on chassis‑mounted equipment.
• Ensure all work and repairs meet the highest quality standards.
• Prepare HGVs for MOTs and conduct routine mechanical duties.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a related field.
• Proven experience servicing heavy goods vehicles.
• Technical knowledge and a background in HGV/RCV maintenance.
