Overview

HGV Technician – Location: Newark

Salary: £20.74 per hour - 37.5 hours per week

Overtime paid at 1.25

Shift: Monday-Friday Days - 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm rotating

Due to the expansion of their fleet and restructuring of their workshop shift patterns to meet future demands they now have a fantastic opportunity for a HGV Technician to their team.

About your new HGV Technician role
  • You will be fully competent in conducting HGV / Trailer safety inspections and MOT preparation to achieve VOSA compliance and have a strong grounding in HGV electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Able to achieve timely completion of tasks and give accurate updates whilst remaining focused and calm under pressure.
  • Keeping detailed records of repairs, inspections, and testing.
The successful HGV Technician will have
  • As valued members of our team you will bring with you experience and enthusiasm and be qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in the repair and servicing of HGV’s.
  • Have good communication skills and show attention to detail in all aspects of inspection, repair and testing documentation.
  • Can work independently and as part of a team.
The successful HGV Technician will receive
  • Overtime paid at time plus quarter - £25.10 per hour
