A leading automotive service provider in Stretford is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their night shift. You will be responsible for comprehensive vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance within a full-time permanent position. Offering a competitive salary of £53,500 plus overtime potential, alongside robust benefits including a pension scheme and ongoing training.

Qualifications

  • Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
  • Detailed knowledge of Truck & Trailer Maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems, maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out thorough vehicle inspections in line with the 'O' licence requirements.
  • Carry out any repairs highlighted on the initial inspection.
  • General servicing and MOT preparation.
  • Fault finding & diagnostics.
  • Updating all required paperwork / databases.

HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter

Depot Location: Trafford Park

Working Hours: 4on 4off 6pm to 6am

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role

Financial Package: Basic = £53,500 + OT = £60,000 Per Annum

My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter on a night shift.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out thorough vehicle inspections in line with the 'O' licence requirements
  • Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
  • General Servicing and MOT preparation
  • Fault finding & diagnostics
  • Updating all required paperwork / databases
Qualifications
  • hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
  • Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
  • A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage for isn't essential
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems, maintenance and repair
