Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic in Milton Keynes. You will work in a busy workshop environment, undertaking all levels of maintenance, repairs, and major overhauls of heavy vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 qualification and experience in a fleet or dealership environment. A C+E driving license is beneficial but not required. This role offers a competitive hourly rate and a structured work rota.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ level 3.
• Experience working as an HGV Mechanic in a fleet or dealership environment.
• C+E (class 1) driving licence is beneficial but not essential.

HGV Mechanic

Job Role: HGV Mechanic

Location: Milton Keynes

Basic: £22.00 per hour + Overtime

Rota: Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday

As an HGV Mechanic you will be based in a busy workshop environment and be required to undertake all levels of maintenance, repairs, and major overhauls as well as completing standard servicing and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Experience working as an HGV Mechanic in a fleet or dealership environment.
• Having a C+E (class 1) driving licence is beneficial but not essential.
