A well-established commercial vehicle workshop in Rotherham is seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a busy, professional environment that values quality, safety and customer service.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Carry out high-standard mechanical repair and preventative maintenance on customer HGVs and trailers
  • Prepare vehicles and trailers for MOT and complete safety inspections
  • Diagnose faults accurately to ensure the correct replacement parts are fitted
  • Work as part of a team to support smooth workshop operations and strong customer relationships
  • Complete job cards, service sheets and paperwork in a timely and professional manner
  • Work within company safe systems of work, maintaining quality and performance at all times
Shifts Available
  • Day-based workshop hours (full-time)
  • Overtime opportunities available - details to be discussed at interview
About You
  • Suitably qualified with experience in heavy commercial vehicle maintenance, repair and diagnostics
  • Safety-aware and committed to a "right first time" ethos
  • Experienced in a fast-paced, customer-focused workshop environment
  • Enthusiastic, able to work on your own initiative with a positive, "can do" attitude
  • Commercially aware with a good understanding of a busy workshop operation
  • HGV Class 1 driving licence is advantageous but not essential
