Overview

Uniserve, a leading logistics and supply chain solutions provider, is seeking a dedicated and skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our dynamic team. Our drivers are integral to our business, ensuring the timely and secure delivery of products to our valued customers. Shift pattern: Monday to Friday occasional nights out maybe required

Salary: £35,700 annual

We also have a bonus scheme of £2000 per year paid quarterly based on certain criteria to be discussed.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle checks in accordance with company procedures to ensure roadworthiness.
• Report vehicle defects immediately, following company protocols.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of company vehicles.
• Report any customer complaints to the Transport team promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all current EU road transport regulations.
• Safely secure freight for transit, avoiding overloading by weight or capacity.
• Undertake other duties on-site when not engaged in the primary role.

Key Skills / Experience

• Holds a valid HGV LGV Class 2 minimum license.
• Holds a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card) and actively maintains qualifications.
• Holds a Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on your license.
• Commercial driving experience.
• ADR awareness or full ADR training is desirable but not essential.
