HGV Class 1 Bulker Tipper Driver - Night Shift

Location: Orpington

Hours: 2pm - midnight, Monday to Friday

Pay: £20.89 per hour, overtime at time and a half

The Role

We are recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Bulker Tipper Driver to work night shifts transporting asphalt and aggregate materials between asphalt recycling centres and asphalt plants.

This position will initially begin on a temporary contract with a view to moving onto a permanent contract after a minimum of 13 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating an HGV Class 1 bulker tipper vehicle safely and efficiently
• Transporting asphalt and aggregate materials between designated sites
• Completing vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with road transport regulationsMaintaining high standards of safety and professionalism on site and on the road
• Completing paperwork and electronic records accurately

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience with bulker tipper, aggregates, or asphalt haulage preferred
• Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused approach

Hours and Pay

Monday to Friday - 14:00 - 00:00

Competitive hourly rate of £20.89 per hour

Overtime paid at time and a half
