Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is looking for a SHEQ Manager with solid Rail experience in West London. The ideal candidate must have IOSH Graduate and NEBOSH certifications, along with extensive knowledge of Rail HS&E requirements. You will be instrumental in developing a strong Health and Safety environment and leading HS&E teams in multi-discipline construction projects. Competitive salary of £45k-£55k offered.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in developing a strong Health and Safety Environment.
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Able to deliver HS&E training to employees and sub-contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead HS&E teams in a challenging environment.
• Produce reports regarding HS&E.
• Ensure compliance with H&S legislation and regulations.

Skills

H&S professional (IOSH) GRAD

NEBOSH certificated

In depth knowledge of Rail HS&E requirements

Experienced in RISQS auditing/management

Experienced leading HS&E within Rail construction environment

Experienced leading HS&E in major multi discipline construction projects

Experienced in accident/incident investigation

Thorough knowledge of H&S and statutory legislation

IIRCA certified internal auditor (HS&E)

Thorough knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001

Please note that being an IOSH Graduate member is a perquisite for this role

Essential:

• H&S professional (IOSH) GRAD
• NEBOSH certificated
• In depth knowledge of Rail HS&E requirements.
• Experienced in RISQS auditing / management
• Experienced leading HS&E within Rail construction environment
• Experienced leading HS&E in major multi discipline construction projects
• Experienced in accident / incident investigation and determine root causes
• Thorough knowledge of H&S and statutory legislation and how to implement them
• IIRCA certified internal auditor (HS&E)
• Thorough knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• Able to work collaboratively with the teams, client and stakeholders / interested parties and supply chain.
• competent in producing reports
• Knowledge of the CDM regulation
• Able to lead the HS&E teams in a challenging environment
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels
• Able to deliver HS&E training to employees and sub-contractors
• Computer Literate
