Advanced Otology/Cochlear Implantation Fellow – 12 months, commencing September 2026. This post provides senior trainees who have completed the majority of their training with an opportunity to gain further experience in all aspects of otology, cochlear implantation and skull base surgery as part of a large and well established multidisciplinary team. Nottingham ENT department provides a comprehensive range of ORL-HNS services, organised on a sub specialty basis. The department is in a purpose built building shared with Ophthalmology. Facilities include a 34 bedded inpatient/day case ward (adult, shared with Maxillofacial Surgery and Ophthalmology) and a 22 bedded paediatric ward. There are 3 ENT operating theatres with equipment including 4K Karl Storz endoscopy stacks, microscopes and navigation, with new otology drills and state‑of‑the‑art videoendoscopic equipment for outpatient use worth over £600k.
