A regional health service is looking for two motivated Healthcare Support Workers to join their Community Rehabilitation Service in Maidstone, UK. The successful candidates will work with service users, assisting with recovery and maintaining community living. Responsibilities include promoting therapeutic activities and documenting health checks. A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are necessary. The team works collaboratively to improve mental health support for the community, and the role demands flexibility in working hours with some evenings and weekends involved.
The Community Rehabilitation Service provides a flexible range of mental health interventions to help clients with complex mental health needs manage their mental health more effectively and remain in their own homes.
The team works in close partnership with Social Care and housing providers to ensure each client has the necessary resources available to enable them to engage in their rehab journey. Across the Community Rehabilitation teams, the clinical team consists of Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Nurses, and VCSE Workers.
We currently have exciting opportunities for two enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Support Workers to join our West Kent Community Rehabilitation Service. Post one will cover Maidstone (base will be Albion Place). Post two will cover South West Kent (base will be Highlands House).
Individuals may be expected to ensure the team is able to provide input between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00 according to the needs of the service, including working some evenings, weekends and public holidays.
