Healthcare Support Assistant (Children & Young People) – Sunderland/Peterlee

Pay: £89 to £110 per day

Start: Immediate

Contract: Long‑term

If you’ve worked in health or care and want to bring your skills into a school environment, this is a brilliant crossover role.

You’ll support pupils with physical, medical and sensory needs, working alongside teachers, physios and specialist staff in a caring, structured setting.

Your role:
  • Supporting physical care routines and mobility needs
  • Helping run structured learning and sensory activities
  • Assisting with communication and emotional regulation
  • Ensuring pupils feel safe, supported and included

  • Experience with hoists, feeding plans or personal care, or open to training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
