An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Cytology Department. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Science Assistant to work at UHDB based at the Royal Derby Hospital., The post involves:

Responsibilities
  • Specimen receipt and processing using automated systems.
  • HPV testing.
  • Entering patient details and requested tests into the pathology computer system.
  • Slide filing.
  • Laboratory duties.
  • Handling general telephone enquiries.
  • The ability to work accurately and independently in a team environment.
