Healthcare & Regulatory Solicitor (Legal Director), 7+ Years PQE, Birmingham, £80,000+ (DOE) – This is a chance to be part of a diverse and intellectually stimulating practice area that offers meaningful, high-impact work across health, social care, and education sectors. JOB REF: 1783.

THE ROLE

• You will work alongside respected specialists in a team known for its depth of expertise and genuine commitment to improving outcomes in public services.
• You will be responsible for a varied caseload to include complex children’s services and Court of Protection matters to SEND and broader regulatory issues.
• Providing advocacy at Court of Protection hearings and SEND Tribunals.
• Offering clear, practical advice to local authority and public sector clients.
• Taking an active role in business development and client relationship management.
• Supporting and mentoring team members, contributing to the ongoing development of the practice.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Applications are sought from solicitors with a minimum of 7 years’ PQE, with significant experience in health, social care, or education law.
• You will have demonstrable expertise in Court of Protection and/or SEND work.
• Proven ability in business development within the local authority sector.
• Strong advocacy, drafting, and communication skills.
• Leadership qualities with a commitment to supporting others and sharing knowledge
