We are looking for dedicated HCAs to lead the delivery of person‑centered mental health services directly in people’s homes, ensuring care is both effective and reflective of our community values.

You will deliver high‑quality care in people’s homes and communities, supporting individuals to live with dignity, independence, and safety. This role focuses on short shifts only (4–8 hours) and suits Care Professionals who value flexibility and are open to supporting packages at short notice where possible.

Who this Role is For

This role is designed for Care Professionals who are intentionally choosing short (4–8 hours) shifts, flexible availability, and short‑notice work as part of how they want to live and work. It allows you to make a real difference while keeping control of your time – on your own terms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mobility support, including basic moving and handling.
  • Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Help with meal preparation, nutrition, hydration, and maintaining a clean environment.
  • Offer companionship, emotional support, and, if needed, financial assistance.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate documentation and records.
Experience & Requirements
  • 6 months of previous experience in healthcare settings, in community or home‑based care.
  • Experience in managing complex health needs, with a focus on mental health, and working with diverse populations.
  • Driving licence is essential for community work and transport of the people we support.
  • PMVA training is required.
