Qualifications

• Experience of working with the general public.
• Experience of working in a healthcare setting.
• Experience recording basic clinical observations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain environments and equipment before, during, and after patient care interventions.
• Assist in the assessment and surveillance of patients' health & wellbeing.
• Carry out baseline observations such as pulse oximetry, blood pressure, temperature and pulse rate.

Skills

Ability to perform observations safely

Excellent verbal and written communication

Empathetic and patient-centred approach

Understanding of infection control

Education

Healthcare qualification (level 3 or 4)

Ear Syringing Certification

Spirometry Certification
